This Department of Conservation camp, near Napier on the North Island of NZ, came with a lovely swimming hole in which to cool off from the 31degree heat. The river was also great for fishing. The only down side was that we had to travel along 12kms of gravel roads to reach it and the motorhome was covered in thick dust inside and out by the time we stopped.
