A photo of the day thread

Go to Spain they said.
At 2.45 this morning the police said “you all have to move”. You have 15 minutes as the river is flooding. They then escorted us all to a car park on higher ground ( a convoy of Motorhomes). The water was at that time about a foot deep in places. This picture is of leaving the camper park in Roses.

A couple more. Having seen photos of the Kelpies we had to go and see them. Genuinely awe inspiring in the flesh, (sorry, stainless steel).

as you can probably tell the weather wasn’t too good. Our motorhome has never been so muddy!
 
Just making the tea, ( Lemon Chicken with Fidua) at Camping Marjal Costa Blanca when it suddenly clouded over as though it was about to pour down.
Just about to get the umbrella out to protect me and the tea when the sun broke through on the western horizon.
Quite dramatic for about 5 minutes!!

Never rained - but a very warm evening. Van was still 24.6° at 8pm with the door open!!
