Just when you thought it was safe to go outside...

Without getting too serious, that sheep could have been in trouble! In farming circles sheep on their back are "Cast" or " Kessing". More prevalent in flat backed breeds, if they get Cast they are unable to get back on to their feet and eventually die.

That's how I want to be found unable to get back on to his feet and eventually died after getting barking pissed one last time

Tried to be a bit arty this morning. Sunrise through an arch of Tower Bridge. Frosty start but beautiful. Laika the wonder dog wasn’t too sure if she should drop her ball and chase the squirrel.

You would think by my age I should know better, but I always feel like I'm a naughty schoolboy when I mention this place

And we thought we were intrepid coming to Scotland 1st week in April:sick:

Utterly Awesome!!
Google mapped Firkin Point Loch lomond, it didn't reveal much, other than a great big Forrest, with no visible roads:eek:
Can you give me a better pointer to this lovely place, we will be up in a couple of days.
Thanks

Today we were at the Commando Memorial at Spean Bridge.

We have passed this place a few times in the past but it was always very busy.

Wet day today so we almost had it to ourselves.

We lost a nephew at 24 years whilst he was serving with them so it was quite a poignant visit.

The Garden of Remembrance was very moving with so many young, and not so young, lost.

The surrounding views are stunning and today, the images reflected the depth of our feelings towards these men, with the rain, like silent tears, washing away the sorrow at losing them.

Please try and visit this place if ever you can.
