A photo of the day thread

Called back into ' civilisation ' this morning to pick up fresh milk etc at Gairloch, Wester Ross.

Nice Village/Town and were impressed with the work put into the " Sit-oot-erie" where you can sit and watch the wildlife, drink your coffee etc.,
Shop, Post Office & Coffee shop opposite.

They had " re-purposed" an old boat as a "Boat-oot-erie" and filled it with flowers where you could sit and eat your sandwich!

Our pitch for tonight is overlooking Loch Ewe, Wester Ross.
Gravel car park, no services other than a bin, but stunning views. About 4 miles up the B8057 from Poolewe.

Been entertained this afternoon by (according to a local) part of a NATO excercise where a German minesweeper has sailed into the Loch and two fast boats from the SBS are acting as attack boats.

Uploaded a few photos to Google Maps today and suddenly found myself elevated to "Master Photographer"! This is not based on actual photographic skills of course, only that I have now uploaded one thousand snaps.

I don't upload every photograph, some like the one below are best left unseen. :) (Taken in a Spanish supermarket)

Sheer fluke Graeme! Didn't see it when taking the pic.

Curiously, about 5 min before that we saw 2 crows chasing a big raptor and tried about 10 pics and couldn't even get them in frame:whistle:

Recently back from a holiday in Egypt. Puzzled by the phone in the suites bathroom.
