A photo of the day thread

Love Bermuda,
Me and Mrs CC have been three times and just walk everywhere day and night the people are so friendly and you don’t feel any sort of threat.
My number one choice for a relaxing week away (y)
Lived and worked there from 75 - 90. Loved it. Could never have afforded to retire there with Hamilton now being the most expensive city in the world. My mate pays $2,000 a month in health insurance.!!

Deal pier, Kent. Nice and calm this morning. (y)

Lovely part of the country Larry even at this time of the year. Only 20 minutes for my home so we are regulars to the area. I must take a look at Dusty Springfield's marker, I think her ashes were spread around the area but nice to see this bit of history. Thanks.

And you were going up the cliff railway powered by water. (y)

No, we were walking up to Lynton, and took the picture at the first bridge.
Wished we had taken the railway, as it a long steep walk up there. But, the Pasty at the top was well worth it

Never went to far today as it was father's day here , but not an easy ride even with electric  up to the port then up the mountain through the posh villas, the first photo about half way up then the second is just before the end of the road ( and it's steep ), it is unmade track after this.

Did you not fancy installing some insulation under the floor seeing as you have it exposed?

50-75mm Celotex board will make a difference, it’s three times better for U Value compared with the wool type

Had one of those de ja vu's today..... not a great photo but this window in an alley drew me to it and gave me horrible, eerie feeling .. :( ... was expecting a white face to creep out of the darkness. Still feel bit iffy.

Just returned from Las Fallas in Valencia . For those of you who have not been there they construct immense statues that are then burned at the end of the festival. Amongst others, this twice life size gem.
