BanHam this evening at BritStop 170/2018. Just waiting for the pub to open for a swift one, then a few quick ones and finishing with some slow ones. (y)(y)

This morning I walked out at high tide to photograph the amazing landscape here at Île Grande in Brittany. It's only 200 yards from the Aire and it's breathtaking.
It was a privilege to have it to myself and I envy the locals who must see a different scene almost every hour of every day.
This tiny strip of rock divides the sea. On one side you have a calm, almost tropical-looking, bay. On the other the brutal Atlantic, trying it's best to smash it's way through.
At low tide they are totally separate at this point. As the tide comes in it rolls over the rocks and joins the two sides.
It's extraordinary and we extended our stay (7 Euro per night) so I can stare at it a few days more.

Bodega Gutierrez Colosia (spelling!) is the one I think. They do tours in English which cost €6 or €8 from memory. Well worth doing. Their Fino sherry is very good and you can take a plastic bottle and they will fill it from a cask. :)

And relax. It's been a bit of a brutal day of weather and waves today. Stuck out into the Atlantic in northern Brittany (Île Grande,) meant we took the full force of the wind all night. This morning I went to look at the high tide and it was truly epic, scary in fact.
I daren't even get the camera out there was so much sand and sea water flying so here's one of low-tide tonight I posted on Instagram of Mrs Humberto (Instagram - gohumberto). It's still violent out there but the sea is further away.

Today was a day at Bennissa Medieval Market, been before so we went a little earlier, because it gets packed in the narrow streets, really enjoyable day. (y) Bob.

Got these flowers yesterday on the market at Puerta de Mazarron. Reminded us of Spring at home when the daffodil "Cheerfulness" appears in our garden.

Are there daffodils in Spain?

There are about 7 to 10 flowers/buds on each stem

Tried different backgrounds & close-ups to try and get images but none turned out that good!

Long walk earlier this morning 17,500 steps with Laika the wonderdog. This insignificant looking lamp post is listed. It was in the film Passport. To Pimlico. (A film I enjoyed) .Through the tunnel you have Lambeth Palace on your left with the Garden Museum. Straight on is Lambeth bridge once on the bridge to your right we have the Houses of Parliament.
The train on the bridge is either going to Waterloo or towards Richmond .
