A photo of the day thread

We were at Port William, across Luce Bay from New England on Monday or Tuesday having lunch and we could hear and feel the ordnance as well.
Perhaps they have clipped Ken's mifi ariel with a near miss

Apparently we all love the beach at Sutton on Sea, especially Rufus who is grinning at me ! There’s more sand than rocks on this one so the boys and girl said they are well happy, however Keira was not happy when we did not stop at what to her looked like a pub on the way back (The Fat Seagull) and planted herself refusing to move when we passed the tables outside. Lorri now thinks it is suspicious that I go for long walks with them.

I hadnt appreciated its dog friendly inside & out, it looks great.

Nice one David(y), for such a big bird I never seem to get close enough or the light is totally wrong:(.

they are very skittish, but this one was quite calm, it also helps having a long lens, my digi zoom canon SX60 took this, an amazing 1320mm equivalent zoom, not used my canon EOS for ages now

@Jasz is the laburnum archway still at Bodnam? ours is just coming out in our garden, we timed it just right at Bodnam a few years back, it was an amazing sight

Did you use a tripod? I can zoom in much further with my camcorder but it's not easy to hold very still.

The laburnum is just starting to come into flower at one end, a little longer before that is at its best.

Thank you for posting those.

My favourite gardens ever at this time of year and I never get to go. :(
I can understand why they would be your favourite, my first time there and I was really impressed (obviously timed it really well though).

I was on the Club’s site Wi-fi, which was poor at peak times, but now I’ve moved north, I’m using my phone data, which is even worse :D

This lad does drawings and stone balancing everyday. Today's was a bit risque. See how big it is in comparison with the sunbeds. And the eyes are little arches of stones.
