I love Crantock beach, spent many summers surfing there with the kids, in preference to Fistral.

Rubbish photo, but shows the erosion of the North Norfolk Coast - it’s as bad as the Jurassic Coast - A pint sized West Bay ....
All the same, it’s a beautiful Coast to walk, and we’re loving it. Weather’s beautiful and Our Little’un has just rung to say it’s raining at home in Bristol - result!

Don't believe your little un ..... I was near Bristol yesterday and it was a scorcher .. honest ... kept willing a thunderstorm on us to get cool ... not a drop .. just sunshine.

Having dinner in St Jean Piead de Port when my wife said look at that, there were loads of Raptors circling in a thermal by the time I got my phone put about half had moved in.Subscribers do not see these advertisements
Today we got the car on top of very steep (scary) crater and had a picnic.
Was a bit hairy getting up. Was about 200' ft from the easy side and bloody steep so needed plenty of welly and 4wd and diff lock. It goes well. But as we got to the top, we lost sight of land, so slammed all on. About 10' in front was a 500' drop . Gulp. Not much room to turn round

Well,that's todays jobs done,cleaned the van out,mowed the lawn,put the trampoline up,got the patio furniture and bbq out of the shed.

A gorgeous day for a paddle off Arisaig, the beach photo taken from my pitch. I’m hopeful of a nice sunset tonight

Went to Sandringham today - no photos allowed indoors, so I’ll just say, although it was lovely, you can tell she doesn’t spend a lot of her own money on it - has she not heard of B&Q OAP Discount Wednesday ... ?
I loved it though - to think we wandered through rooms that are actually lived in by the Royals, with no ‘state rooms’ for the Plebs to be herded around.
The grounds were gorgeous and I’ve picked up loads of tiny fur cones that will be sprayed silver and gold and will be added to cones from all over Europe that decorate our Christmas tree - cheap but effective .....
We walked around Cromer yesterday - I have no idea what this was all about ...
A Swiss Launderette ....?!
The window in Cromer Church - apparently most people miss it - but a lovely volunteer pointed it out ...
The Antiques Roadshow is being filmed on Cromer Pier tomorrow - best of luck with that Fiona!!
