A couple of the "Aire"' at Castle Corner just down the road from Glencaple as mentioned in a while ago by @lorger ...

You should be fine there, I'd also recommend Port Patrick lovely little town with couple of nice pubs the crown is our fave. If you head into town and get to the sea turn left and park in the car park behind the lighthouse, it has signs saying no overnight but you'll be fine. We spoke with the local community warden and they had no issues, if you see them in their van have a chat. You can also stay at port Logan in the car park for the fish pool, pub is now shut bit lovely location. Thanks Gerry, trying a few different sites this trip.
Had a night in between at the Glenearly site at Dalbeattie. Nice, with excellent facilities but a little expensive.
Going to have a look at the harbour at the Isle of Whithorn tomorrow to see if we can get on there.
Bet you got to the seaside quicker than me.Last nights sunset in Little Haven, Wales

Had a couple of cloudy days here otherwise lots of sunshine and early 20’s but gather there was hail last weekend by Tarragona.Have heard it’s not great on the eastern coast.
