Staying at Aberdaron, we visited Bardsey Island today. Glorious day, my wife gets the credit for the photo of the Oystercatchers and after years of wanting to see Puffins I now have a photo to remember.

Having a few days round SW Scotland and took a few snaps...(should say at this stage that my wife took them with her Samsung Galaxy Note One)(y)
A couple of the "Aire"' at Castle Corner just down the road from Glencaple as mentioned in a while ago by @lorger ...

Some from the path through the woods that leads from Castle Corner along the shore. Also spotted a deer but too slow with the phone!

Moved on to Garliston
Just caught the sun right on the mill race

Where the stream that forms the millrace runs out into the estuary

Huge tree on the green with beautiful blossom.

Swans where the stream meets the sea.

Glad your enjoying my neck of the woods, castle corner really is ideal for a quiet night or two. We also love Garlieston for a quick get away, try the pub it might not look much from the outside but really friendly and nice good basic food

Thanks Gerry, trying a few different sites this trip.
Had a night in between at the Glenearly site at Dalbeattie. Nice, with excellent facilities but a little expensive.
Going to have a look at the harbour at the Isle of Whithorn tomorrow to see if we can get on there.

You should be fine there, I'd also recommend Port Patrick lovely little town with couple of nice pubs the crown is our fave. If you head into town and get to the sea turn left and park in the car park behind the lighthouse, it has signs saying no overnight but you'll be fine. We spoke with the local community warden and they had no issues, if you see them in their van have a chat. You can also stay at port Logan in the car park for the fish pool, pub is now shut bit lovely location.

T.

Have heard it’s not great on the eastern coast. (n)
If you mean the weather the photo was not typical and stayed sunny for the rest of the day although different parts have experienced very different weather. Had a couple of cloudy days here otherwise lots of sunshine and early 20’s but gather there was hail last weekend by Tarragona.

Got friends between Gerona and Saint Felou and they have their heating on.

Ne'er cast a clout. Was clothing.

Till May is out. The flower

@Debs I can't help with identifying your crab, but the 3 'things' on the rock look to be sea anemones, which open up when covered in water (y)
