A photo of the day thread

Stop posting photographs of Skye , my van's mot has run out:D. There's a chimney in the photo ,is there a house behind the shed?
Weather looks good, drizzly in Glasgow .

Sorry about your MOT John @kelpie ...
And yes the weather is glorious.
The chimney is from the shed, mostly tin as you can see but like a lot of these old sheds one end is a stone hearth.

I saw this Man in Honfleur. It's my guess that he's never been mugged whilst dog-walking.

Had the van booked in a couple of weeks ago ,then snow came falling snow on snow. Get it done next week hopefully:). Where on the island is that?
John

Walked into the kitchen and couldn't understand why the windows were steamed up. Then I remembered that I had put some eggs on to boil - an hour before. Do you think they would be classed as hard boiled?

Just north of Struan on the Dunvegan road. I doubt it'll last much longer, you can almost see bits dropping off as you look at it.
Good luck with the MOT next week!

@Greenway , how did you get your place on the front row there at La Azohia?
When we were there about three weeks ago there was only room in the fourpenny hard seats at the top of the hill !!

Anyone like a few red chilli peppers?

Spotted these outside the polytunnels on the road between Balerma and Almeriamar this afternoon. They have been there at least 4 days so I presume they are being dumped!

I think we were very lucky, rolled up at about 12:00 and there was a space at the front. Drove towards it half expecting someone to say "you can't park there" but no, friendly welcome from both sides. We have enjoyed stay, moving on to the new aire at San Javier tomorrow

I'd have had some. We've have been unable to find chillies in the shops and supermarkets.:)

We went into a Mercadona somewhere about 1/2 hour before they closed prior to one of their Christmas holidays and they were selling off the chillies at about 1/3 price so we cleaned out the lot, chopped them up and froze them. We'll still be eating them next year!!

Many years ago in New Zealand, many supermarkets were giving away Kiwi fruits. Locals were either sick of them or just didn't like them.

Lost in translation......????

But I do like the sound of the last item on the meat plates. Ox tail with sherry, hopefully slowly braised....:p

Walking back from our Menu del Dia this afternoon stood and watched the shepherd with his flock cross the road without undue haste to let them graze on the trees and scrub.
