Son's 30 mile drive to Hawick this morning. What you don't see is the left hand cab door has been removed, luckily the heater is very good !

Had a ride out to seaham harbour today..
Came upon this lovely sculpture, constructed of little metal plates welded together..
And the couple of little plaques attached for info..

I know what you mean.. could sit by it for ages taking in all sorts of facinating little features...
Seaham its self is hardly recognisable now from it's mining days...
The Collier tip beach that I used to fish has largely returned to sand now...all The tips long gone...

That is a beautiful photo ...its almost alive.
I first visited honfleur in 1992 in an old vw camper van I'd bought for £675 I was 17 and it was my first time abroad......never went abroad again for nearly 20 years.
That brings back memories

The other sculptures I saw were all arty sort of things... you know weird shapes in stone and metal... nothing that caught my eye like '' Tommy ''..

I spent 3 nights there about a week ago. About 18 vans first night and 12 the other two nights. I looks like it is tolerated in the winter. Guardia Civil did drive by one day.

I'm glad it's not just here then...its cold and windy in Castellon too ,sun is trying to come out but is failing
It's rained most days of last week here. Dropped to 10c overnight. Cool today. Got the gas fire on.

7am Saturday is going to be a shock.
Beautiful day here on the west coast of Skye, had a nice walk, this is my favourite shed (so I've probably posted a very similar photo before, sorry!) Stop posting photographs of Skye , my van's mot has run out
