After a fantastic time in the beautiful city of Strasbourg we moved on - when we could tear Finley away from the fountain:rolleyes:, just over the border in Germany in Mahlberg behind a little church. CC No 24479.

Where did you stay in Strasbourg?
CamperContact 18346. We were too big for the normal parking bays at right angles to the road so had to use a roadside bay that was parallel to the road. Could find the Aire that was supposed to be 5:00 euro. Think that has gone. We found 1:00 euro for 3 hours. The parking was by the university.

Hay being dried in traditional ricks at the end of our drive: 4 poles to make a frame a bit like a tipi, then the hay loaded around them, a tunnel through at the bottom to help air-dry the hay, and a cover to help the rain run off, tied to the bottom of the poles. Rakes and pitchforks left lying against the hayricks - you can judge the height from these (maybe 7 or 8 feet?). This will feed the sheep over the winter.

Both images have been twiddle with in Adobe Lightroom Mobile, which I wrote about in another thread a day or so ago. It's a powerful app now. :)
