Had a great time at Clitheroe Food Festival.

First day at balloon festival .. Thanks to @SueTayBon my 2yr old grandaughter loved the bouncy 'doll's house' but wouldn't come out even for the man in charge. :)

A video on a photo thread? Well, strictly speaking this is about 400 photos stitched together into a time-lapse.

A very short time-lapse of a very short English summer. I love time-lapse, it reveals patterns and behaviour you just don't see normally.

Walked down one side then back up the other side of the Humger Bridge . 2.4 miles each way . Now parked up beneath having a cuppa and making some Aberdeen Angus burgers , bacon, salad and melted blue cheese .

Didn't know you could camp there?
You can't, and we weren't
We'd had a night over at West Stockwith after the funsters rally at Saltfleet, then went onto the Humber Bridge . Parked up , walked down one side back , back the other side , had a walk around the reserve underneath then back to Pug to make some lunch and chill out in the sunshine .

I'm cheating, this was't in the last 24 hours, it was Monday evening about 7pm in the drizzle but warm & calm, lovely for walking, Skye.

A grim day in South West Scotland...so got some baking done.

A friend had given us some of the apples that had been given to her by a friend of hers who had a glut of home grown apples.

So it was out in the horizontal rain to get some blackberries from the local hedgerow - dogs were most unhappy!

But the result is an Apple and blackberry tart with a French meringue topping

Swmbo was less impressed though as she'd agreed to clear up the kitchen afterwards...

Been at Parc Verger since the 12 of August now, and The Munchies and I went to the village's feast for the 15th of August and we had our dinner there with the locals and really enjoyed the evening! Music and fireworks ended that beautiful warm night ....
