A greedy 3 first looking across the lake about 04.30 UK time

Next a fisherman, he was winching the large sort of cage net aboard when I first saw him and I could see the fish flapping inside. Like a wally I just stood there watching then I thought I should take a photo. By the time had put some knickers on and got the camera the real action was over. I should have just grabbed the camera and taken a chance.

The next shot was taken as he motored away, I took it because I was amazed to see the bird standing at the bows!

I am camped at the edge of Lac Leman, La Tour-de-Peilz, Montreux, CH. The large rock in the first picture is Pic de Memise.

I hope your days will be a good as mine! Clive

I struggle with this modern art thingy but this looks lovely when it lights up in the dark and the pottery figure of Mother Hope in the centre of a world struggling.

Coypu on the Ile d'Oleron while we were having breakfast. A native of South America they escaped (plus deliberate releases) originally from fur farms and are now naturalised. They can do a lot of damage to waterways with their burrows. In size about the same as a youngish rabbit. Called a Ragondin in France.

While we were watching some swimming about in the river Aveyron last year a French motorhomer told us they make very good pate can't say I fancy trying it myself.

Pâte sounds nice but a bit fiddly to make in the MH as we didn't bring a food processor with us. :) Ragu of Ragondin has a Ring to it.
