To be honest .. the veggie option was good but the roast beef looked a bit stringy and rough .. so you arn't missing anything .. oh and the cauliflower overcooked.. ;)

Was thinking it looked yummy:tounge:, just needed a couple of slices of beef:giggler: but maybe not by the sound of it:worried:

Spent a long weekend at Pennings Farm in Coombe Bissett, Salisbury. I took my camera gear but there was literally nothing to see but a field. This is no bad thing, it's bare-bones and tranquil CS Site.

Below you can see everything (There's actually a lovely walk into Coombe Bissett and "The Fox & Goose"). I really liked the site. Sometimes all you want is nothing.

Don't know if any of you lot remember, but a few weeks ago I posted about some puppies being born on a camp site in/on Sicily.
This is us several weeks later smuggling them on to the ferry from Palermo, ( the website would only allow us to book 2 ).
This is them in our cabin heading north to new homes in Germany and Switzerland.

I should say, this is them resting after a long journey, a couple of hours after this photo was taken there was shi* and pis* everywhere. There is a video.....but it's not pretty!

Please note that despite booking a cabin for dogs they gave us one with CARPETS!.

Well done. Would love to see more photos of the next stage of their lives.

Probably three of the most tiring weeks we have ever had, but well worth it. If it hadn't have been for the effort of everyone concerned I think only a couple of them would have survived in the wild.
Hopefully their new pets will stay in touch with us and I can forward the pics on.

This is a picture of them later on in the cabin, which begs the question.....

How could an 8 week old puppy have worked out my character so quickly?

This little beauty stepped out in front of the car on a sightseeing trip today near Avidsjaun, Sweden.sorry about picture quality it's through windscreen and taken to quickly as traffic was coming.

A lovely walk this morning, never seen so many flowers, the white daisies especially, but there are more orchids than I ever remember, accompanied by bird song, pretty this little bird is a willow warbler :)(y)

@Stretto Boy lovely photo, we had a white cat too, hope you put plenty of sunscrean on his ears, we didn't realise they are susceptible to skin cancer, Tom lost one of his.

It's very cold when suns not shining and having snow showers all day today, there is also a lot of snow lying still and frozen lakes quite numerous. Still enjoying Sweden though the people are so nice and it's so clean no rubbish laying about

Sound advice but Maxi is not allowed outdoors. We had him from the cat rescue centre a couple of months ago and they would only let us adopt him on the strict understanding that we keep him indoors. This is because he has a problem with three of his paws. The skin is paper-thin and apparently, if he goes outside, they become red and very sore. Fortunately, he seems very happy to stay inside.
