Fishing went well this morning, had to pack up at 11am as way too hot...

I suppose you mean Chichester side of the A27?
Fished plenty on the other side but not had anything bigger than 27lb, carp that is, loads of tench over there, specially in Leythrone lake

Yes I belong to the Chichester Angling who have the ponds by the industrial site, I fish for anything and mostly fish the Long Lake.
In the summer I have to stop fishing to have a bite to eat as they go mad sometimes 15-20 carp milling about on the top.
The lake behind were I fish is where there are some 40's in apparently.

I use to fish the leisure lakes over the other side years ago and had a few nice Pike out.

Mate had this in France a few years back.
