What ever happened to Bob a Job !! Scouts & the Guides -- Willing for a shilling

Elf and Safety..... The times I could really have used them this last two years just to help me lift stuff in my back garden .... now I either leave it to go to pot or save for extortionate call out charges for gardener who works four hours a day ... cost £350... :(

Yes I use a similar setup and find the top handle really helps steady the camera ....

..

ha ha ... funnily enough I just sold my old dad's box brownie.. :( ... sad but so much clutter still that I can't let go of since he died... It held so many memories of me and family holidays when I was a little girl... Dad thought he was the king when he had that camera ... he worshiped it... and hence so did I........ worth a million pounds in memories ..... what did I get for it when I sold it....

. ... £5. The one and only offer. But the memories are still here in my head.

@Steve and Kat, now I have seen your MH I think you were parked just down the road from us at Luskentyre on Monday/ Tuesday gone. we were on the last West Harris Trust pitch on the road to Luskentyre (the one where three vans can face the sea) and you drove down to the end and back and then, (I think) parked at the pitch facing right down the loch towards Taransay.
Stunning place!!
We had just pitched up the week before when a couple parked their car beside us, walked down onto the pristine beach and drew some sort of salutation in German in six foot high letters, took a drone out of his backpack, launched it, waved whilst they took a video, packed it away and then drove off leaving us to look at the message for the next few hours!

Also spent a night at Bostadh Beach....

where a short walk brought you down to the beach itself...

But of all the photos we took, this was my favourite and is now the wallpaper on my PC...

As you say Joy, you only got £5 for the camera... probably more than it originally cost ... but the memories are invaluable.:)

Cycling in the Netherlands near Zeist we happened upon this group of 2CVs parked up. We wondered about the collective noun for this and decided it was a 'hilarity'.

wonderful
What a spectacular sight the harbour must have looked with all the masts and tall ships 100 years ago.

It would have been Anthea.

They are not Tall Ships but next year will host one leg of the Volvo Ocean Race in 2018.

That will be some big event!

I sometimes think we need a rating button for "sad" or "I sympathise with you" too

My MiL had a blue one like the one on the left and learned to drive at 60 when she was widowed.

Porkster, Picture 2, you can feel his excitement.

A beautiful day in Florence today. It was our first visit, and to say the architecture is stunning is an understatement! We were only there for one day, not enough time and we will definitely return!

Picture of the front of The Duomo . The white and green bits are marble and the picture doesn't do it justice.

Looks like Goodwood?
Got told off when I did a track day for going to fast around that chicane!

I made a real hero's entrance into that chicane in a GT40 a few years ago followed by a losers sideways drift on the exit. All caught on film which was subsequently tracked down and hopefully all copies have been deleted... :)
