Lovely atmosphere and the weather was beautiful. Bagels & coffee where enjoyed then a walk back home. Laika the wonder dog enjoyed herself sniffing and eating any food bits she found, bad dog !
Some images from our weekend break in the New Forest (Settorns - Camping in the Forest).

@Go Humberto!
The colours are lovely but what you've done to shot 1 is very impressive.

Sorry to bombard you with New Forest photos but I love early-morning sun breaking through the woods in Autumn. It's right up there with Bluebell season (which I shall bore you senseless with in April/May).

Great picture Kev I am really warming to the Shard...View attachment 137231 The Shard this evening, it was so bright with spot lights coming off it , it lit the sky.
The view is through the trees in the back garden.
Spoilsport!Took the sun with me, sun returns to Devon in March.![]()

All the photos were taken on the grounds of Setthorns "Camping in the Forest" site. Facilities comprise of Fresh Water points, some Hook-ups and Chemical disposal. Nothing else (apart from the trees). Solar power, when you are under grey skies, a low sun and in a Forest is non-existent. There is lots if walking and cycling though. The village of Sway, with a nice Deli/Cafe is 25 mins walk. We'll be back in Jan/Feb I imagine. We both really liked it and I much prefer the Off-Season in the New Forest to a sunny Sunday (When, frankly, it's a hateful snarl-up.)Doesn't bore me one bit, on the contrary, am thinking of spending my Christmas hols in the New Forest. Doing more than thinking about it thanks to your photos.
