Fantastic morning at Columbia Rd flower market then onto Spitalfields Market. Lovely atmosphere and the weather was beautiful. Bagels & coffee where enjoyed then a walk back home. Laika the wonder dog enjoyed herself sniffing and eating any food bits she found, bad dog !

OMG Nodded off and woke up to the brightest orange glow in the room .. I thought the house opposite must be on fire ... it's only 4pm ...

It is an amazing sunset. Wish the rooftops wern't in the way so you could experience it. The photo is just as taken.

Art or what...

Apparently my well it meant to have a fence around it...

Well now it has.

JJ

Did someone fall in after tripping over the nearby tree stump lol.

On a separate note I'm looking for some 2-4 of the black IBC tanks. Any info on where I may get some would be much appreciated. The only place near to us that use them have a long waiting list as all the farmers want them.

Cheers

Shawn

I purchased mine second hand from a farm supply shop just outside Avelar near Ansião.
(On the road that passes the Leca Factory.)

PS. The tree stump, which was the bottom section of a tree not so very long ago, is not living there any more...

Sorry to bombard you with New Forest photos but I love early-morning sun breaking through the woods in Autumn. It's right up there with Bluebell season (which I shall bore you senseless with in April/May).

Doesn't bore me one bit, on the contrary, am thinking of spending my Christmas hols in the New Forest. Doing more than thinking about it thanks to your photos.

Great picture Kev I am really warming to the Shard...:xThumb:
Thank you , it was taken from the kitchen window .
The shard depending on the light or time of day can look beautiful other times it just seems to sit there.
Quite often there are helicopters flying round it, filming it.
Last night it was so bright due to spot lights . They normally color the top part of it in different lights, to make it look like a Christmas tree this time of the year.
When the sun is in the right position it will bounce of the Shard and fill my kitchen with sunshine which is great.

All the photos were taken on the grounds of Setthorns "Camping in the Forest" site. Facilities comprise of Fresh Water points, some Hook-ups and Chemical disposal. Nothing else (apart from the trees). Solar power, when you are under grey skies, a low sun and in a Forest is non-existent. There is lots if walking and cycling though. The village of Sway, with a nice Deli/Cafe is 25 mins walk. We'll be back in Jan/Feb I imagine. We both really liked it and I much prefer the Off-Season in the New Forest to a sunny Sunday (When, frankly, it's a hateful snarl-up.)
