Intended to walk the full length of the trial, no such luck, as last year we only did a short due to time available.
Picked the one day in the year they had close the first section through hell fire to make the rocks safe and also discovered the last quarter of the trail with compressor cutting closed 18 months ago, the military reclaimed the land.
Anyway had a pleasant 3_hour walk along the track through the jungle its winter so a pleasant even though a bit sticky 33 deg.

Thailand Burma railway about 80 km from bridge over the river Kwai. The notorious pass where many lives were lost mainly Austrailian POW's. Nearly 100,000 allied POW's and several hundred thousand Asian workers lost their lives building the railway.

Must be freezing! 48.2 degrees here in Cornwall:xdoh:
Dropped to 24 deg C, 75.2 in old fashioned Cornish. Locals wearing thick fleeces and complaining about the cold.
On our way back to our daughters will be able to pick up our jumpers before travelling on.:xrofl:

7 c here in cloudy still dark Sheffield!

Here on the Black Sea coast just south of Varna it is -3c at almost 11am, with wind chill more like -8c ! Blue skies and sunshine though and it's a dry cold, so much more bearable than the damp, drab climate further north and west. January and February the night temps can go as low as -15c,or even lower - when we get the snow we get plenty of it ! We do take winterising of vehicles quite seriously around here :xgrin:
