My son was telling me that yesterday was dress up as santa day in the US were everyone dresses up as santa then gets pissed....not sure if any running is involved though.......

Not in a motorhome. It's a local fishing hut, on the River Test, near me. I photograph it a lot... and I just photographed it again.

Also nearby is Wherwell, about as Hampshire a village as you can find. WWI Memorial to the Wherwell men who served.. Hard to believe there were that many men in Wherwell. It's tiny.

They didn't seem too scared when feeding , there were also blue tits and a robin which waited their turn to feed.
The parakeets we get at out kitchen window are very nervous , the other week when we put out a pomegranate for them they refused to return until we took it down.

Thought I'd share this one with you - I posted it on Twitter and tagged our local Wildlife trust and for a simple photograph it has started to get a lot of interest
So the photo is of what is now a multi-use footpath it used to be a railway incline with double track that used to feed the Avenue Coking plants with coal and take the coke trains out to the Power Stations when it looked a lot different but now it is managed by the Derbyshire Wildlife Trust
