I still love The Sound of Music and cannot decide, if it is the film or the memories?

When I first started my Coaching business in the 80's, I was contracted for two wonderful summers doing 'Sound of Music' Coach Tours in Austria, based and lodged with the residents, in a small village of Grossarl, about 50? clicks South of Salzburg.

Every day we would go in & out to a different destination via a single track road with a sheer mountain one side which had been cut back for the first time to allow full-size Coaches to travel, missing the rock by just a few inches, while a 600ft drop the rest of the mountain, on the other-side. Happy Days!

Brilliant series, unfortunately it’s not on this week so have to wait until next Monday

1923 is with Harrison Ford and Helen Murray I believe and that’s next on our watch list.
We are also watching Tula King on Paramount+

I liked them both. Takes a while to get the gist and I needed subtitles for Daniel Craig

I recommend on DVD this 1982 slapstick comedy film (with English subtitles) based on a play. It's like a Carry On film, but funnier, and much dirtier instead of relying on innuendo. Don't watch it if you are easily offended.

It’s a continuation of the space race from the moon landing as if it never stopped, I think Apollo 59 was most recently mentioned in season two episode one around 1983

Can I throw in a Netflix series? I've just finished binge watching Santa Clarita Diet. It's the best thing I've watched in ages, so well written and funny. I'm now going back through it again with my husband. I get it won't be everyone's cup of tea, and I won't even try and describe it, just have a go!!

Finding the series “Bodies” on Netflix, about the chaos in a major London Hospital’s Obstetric and Gynae Department, seriously good entertainment…..especially after a working life in the NHS seeing the rivalry between Consultants/Management/Nurses etc. The script is good, the acting first rate and the visual imagery of things most folk will never have seen (or possibly wish to) outstanding.

Anyone thinking of getting pregnant would be best advised not to watch this!

An excellent and entertaining drama….. well I hope it is and not a documentary!!!!!!
