I've always liked Emma Thomson & rate her acting ability very highly.
So this movie is a little bit naughty & Emma appears in one scene totally nude, but its very much in the theme of the story & shows a mature woman finally finding herself.
If you're a bit prudish, perhaps its not for you.

We watched it on Amazon Prime.

Watching one now that's a bit good, "Shepherds and Butchers". Watched it about a year ago. Must have been drunk when i did as cannot remember most of it. It's well worth a watch.

Where the Crawdads Sing. Surprised me at first that I like it so much then you realise it’s a good tale well told with no fuss.

Goodness you’d be in trouble in my house with that opinion . Our kids (18 & 16) love it. They’ve been to cinema twice to watch it and keep trying to get me to buy it in Amazon which for £20 I have so far refused…. They love it, I’ve not seen it!!

Just caught up with the Elvis movie last week. It was a showing in the conference room of a hotel so don’t know if that was the problem, but the dialog was so poor, I, and those around me said we need subtitles.
