i agree 100% with that. They have done outstandingly well to build a large enough following and have enough business sense to put themselves in a great position. Their videos are very well produced which helps with the popularity and they have a go at almost every job themselves.

Is it really only the two of them or do they have a complete TV crew and builders who jump in when the cameras are off?

And where would the money come from to fund that??Come on brain in gear,,its not Hollywood.BUSBY.

I did watch this video and they said they went for jackory because they had one in there old van. So why they need another one then,or was the old one crap and break?

You will see the title “ winter van life “ in loads of YouTube videos even though it’s autumn .

This kind of marketing must work but personally it puts me off . Giving someone a free product so they review it in a positive light does not prove the product is good .

I was looking through eBay a couple of weeks ago for some language translator earbuds and came across a seller who is obviously one of the "influencers" as they were auctioning dozens of different items and all of their auction listings I looked at said only opened to do a review.
Looking at the bidding on the few of their auctions I looked at, they were in for raking in a good grand or more selling off their freebies, .................. a good little tax free earner.

I don't watch the crap Youtube videos, well not for more than enough to gauge the dire content and to form an opinion, plus I'm not sad enough to even think about watching any TV soaps first time around let alone again.

What I was commenting about on your previous post was that it appears that your live and let live does not apply to letting Funsters have an opinion and commenting on crap YouTube videos, surely you should follow your own ethos and live and let live on that as well.

There is a lot of very high quality stuff out there for 'free' on You Tube. I enjoy travel documentaries and have watched them for years on BBC, ITV, Channel 4 and 5 but there are some on you tube that give those expensive celebrity hosted programmes a run for their money. What with the development in camera and sound technology it is possible to produce high quality stuff with one person, a camera and a computer. It takes skill and hard work though - There is a lot of poor quality rubbish out there too!
