Your best motorhome gadget

Karcher window vac , dries out the screen when cold and the silver screens are not up. But do the base first or it will spray you with water.
Great bit of kit, no need to bother with silver screens. Latest models do not spray water.

Oh forgot the latest,

Mopeka/gasit bluetooth lpg gauge, seems very accurate so far. And relatively cheap.

You can get them direct from the states or Ebay, I got just one gauge for .£53.99 on Ebay. Best value I have seen was 2 gauges plus monitor for inside van for around £106 delivered.
That kit can still be read via the free app.

Still good value kit considering how much we spend?

Cheers BB, much appreciated ?

Birds Eye camera.:

I think I want this on my van. At the NEC last weekend I expected to see lots of systems on offer but actually saw none! Have you any experience with where to source one from and any advice regarding fitting/use etc?

Many thanks in advance

May have posted before.

Battery-to-battery charger for on the move. Tops up leisure batteries in a 1/2 hour run.

Suits those who do not use EHU ans sites.

I honestly think a lot of people should consider one of these before they look to solar. An added bonus is that you don't need Sikaflex to install it so no need for a debate!

My understanding (and I could be wrong) is that BtoB only works when the engine is running, so not much good when parked up for three or four days (say, at a rally) without EHU?

Whereas solar will keep batteries topped up.

Indeed it will only work with the engine running, BUT in half an hour you can put a lot of juice back in your batteries. Solar is fine in the summer but if you want to run your blown air heating and other 12V appliances in the winter you are going to need a lot of panels and a brush to sweep the snow off!

Could you not run the two in tandem, say a 150w solar and a B2B Charger? Best of both worlds??

I don't have proper internet or Paypal but few years ago Cal54 ordered a small battery operated light which I hang in the bathroom. It is a sendory light so if I get up in middle of night the dim, coloured light comes on by itself and I don't wake little grandaughter.. Who doesn't need a wee as often as me nowadays :(.. Only had to change tiny battery once in all these years,

CCal, what was it called please?
