Your Beer of the week

Yay!

The last 11 bottles of Proper Job removed from Aldi's shelf :giggle:
Also bought a couple of bottles of Harpers IPA to try too.
Tried the Harpers IPA tonight.

Double success.
1 Lovely hoppy taste as claimed on the label. Refreshing and satisfying drink.
2 Mrs not keen on hoppy beer... Result!

Thanks for the nudge garry55.

Dance Bear GIF
.......sorry....I just read it again ...its Beer not Bear! Really need some glasses!

kev. ;)(y)

My nearest Aldi had refilled the shelf with Proper Job this week.

I was in Spoons at Stamford on Wednesday, and although I'd normally go for the Abbot Ale, I spied Theakstons Old Peculier on the pump, so had a couple.
Black nectar is that stuff. ;)

Cheers. :drink:

Jock. :)

I tried the Harpers yesterday - pleasant enough, but sadly lacking in the hoppy stakes for me. The Hatherwood and Proper Job remain my firm favourites in the absence of Brewdogs Mr President IPA.

You don't see it very often at the pump now days Jock. Lovely drop of beer. 👌

I had some Shepherd Neame Whitstable Bay Pale Ale at the weekend, it's been around for ages but I've never tried it.

Not one for most of the new pale ales but this one was delicious.

Shall have to add it to the 'Approved' list for when Mrs CAB next goes shopping!

No mustard on mine though!
...and sorry, no beer in that photo!

If the Sprouts weren't there Bob, I could just murder that plateful, along with that McEwans Champion Ale. ;)

Enjoy. (y)

Jock. :)
Aww poor sprouts, someone has to eat them!
Had a 2nd McEwans then finished off with a dram to go more with the Haggis! 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿

Drink enough of it Jock and you won’t care whats involved. 🤣🤣🍺
I had a pint and a half of this today Steve, which was enough for me. ;)

Apparently, my two pals were on it all day on Friday. One doesn't remember his wife coming to the pub to collect him and take him home, and the other doesn't remember falling off the edge of the bed, sustaining carpet burns to one elbow. ......................

Cheers. :drink:

I’ve never received carpet burns by that method 😉🤣

I’ve had black ipa before , but can’t for the life of me remember the brewer. 🤔

I did question him about the state of the other elbow as well as his knees, to which he disappointedly confirmed "no damage to either", hence it being a simple drunken fall.

Cheers. :drink:

Hi everyone, not been on for a while.

Had this one in France, back in June, Lagunitas, Hazy Wonder, USA. 6.0% hazy gold in colour with a thin head, a citrus aroma and a bitter taste.

Sound like a beer I would really enjoy. 😋🍺🍺
