I love this beerI had one of these today, which I've not had in a long time. It was really tasty.

Had this one recently
This a really nice dark beer from Castle Douglas, the brewery has its own bar with a great vibe

Kaneens + BBNo, Pale Ale, Isle of Man
5.2% pale gold in colour with a thin head, this beer was a good lager.
Not been to the IOM since 1993, I did go to the TT for 20 years in a row before that but sadly never since.

Bishops Finger is easily overlooked but it's a nice beer from Shepherd & Neame.

Prefer Spitfire. Most of our local pubs are Shit & Scream and the brewery at Faversham does an amazing number of brews that you wouldn't expect from an old established independent brewery.

No need to comment, as unlike Heineken, it definitely reaches the parts other beers can't refresh.

Shame they didn't choose to put a Barnacle goose on the label instead of the Canada goose they've chosen as the Barnacles are arriving now around the Solway Firth and into Caerlaverock which is just down the road from Castle Douglas ?This a really nice dark beer from Castle Douglas, the brewery has its own bar with a great vibe
Didn’t chose the beer for the picture but you are right, I suspect the guys at the brewery have more important things to think about. Making sure they brew the beer better than ever

If you like this kind of beer, you'll not regret It, very similar to Chimay. Here I pay around 2€ for a beer like that. A bit expensive, but worth It

I bought a box of these in Lidl a couple of months back and really enjoyed them.
