Consumed several pints of this last Friday. From what I remember it was delicious and extremely more ish.

A few of the beers left by my lad when he went back to Chamonix last Sunday. He has a brewery in Chamonix and had been over doing collaboration brews with a few breweries around Manchester and just into North Wales.
I don’t like the larger, but then I don’t really like any larger. The others are very nice. Particularly the Good Morning Captain at 8.5%.

I was on this yesterday afternoon.....................but had to call it a day after 4 x pints, and finished off with a Guinness. ;)

I have to say, it's right up there with the likes of Theakston's Old Peculier and Doombar Reserve. (y)

Cheers :drink:

Jock. :)

My last blog was back in October 2021, with beers I had got in France on our holidays. I have no idea why I stopped doing this blog, but I think it's about time I started back up again.

Some nice looking and sounding beers there Ralph. 😋👍

The rest of the cans from Christmas.

I have finished the Christmas cans, so now I will move on to the Christmas bottles.

Finely here are the last three Christmas beers, although these are named for Christmas Day, Boxing Day and New Years Ale.

Before I move on with the rest of the beers that I missed, there are a couple of Dutch beers that I thought were very good.

Just bought a few German beers from a local small brewery near to where we are staying. This was the daddy of them strength wise. 😲 Wow, it was almost treacle like. Lovely flavour but a bit sickly towards the end of the 0,33l bottle. Very dark and thick as expected with no head. Near €10 for just that one bottle. 😬

Wold Top Bitter. We were in Whitby last week, got home Friday. we both had this at the Quayside restaurant with our fish and chips. Lovely beer. I prefer cask ales as I’m not keen on chilled stuff. Hubby liked it too.

Haven't had this for years, but ordered a couple of boxes mail order. Not all beers make the trip into bottles well, but this is pretty much how I remembered it 👍👍👍
