We had agro at Souillac some idiot couldn't get out the barrier tried for over 10min. I phoned them they told me I had gone over the 24 and would have to pay for another day. Told them what they could do with that & them it turned out there was a different way out with another barrier I was at the entrance one.
Anyway it was all sorted in a couple of mins on the phone.
When you go in you don't get a ticket like most Aires so didn't really know what time we entered & the exit wasn't signposted.
We stopped at Souillac on the way down in November and the exit barrier onto the little lane had been removed. Had we known maybe we'd have been dishonest and not paid until leaving.

I can't get to the page now I've paid but may be someone who is going to pay their road tax in the next few days can have a look.
I'm convinced it said 2.50 for credit cards, but maybe it said company cc
I tax about 15 vehicles a year and always use a Tesco credit card and never pay any extra.

Googled it for you, it appears a commercial cc has to pay £2.50 what is one of them.

What difference does that make I assume your heating works on gas.
We only have gas heating, works for us.
Conenental sites expect you to only use electric for the fridge and battery charging, perfectly sensible.
If it's - 7outside, I have the gas on but can't blow the hear around the van as that runs on electric and uses a lot of power

If you have the heat on without a fan running I take it you don't have a Combi but a fire like 3000 series Truma. They take even less power than Combi you have any trouble unless your leisure batteries have had it.

I’m starting to get a bit dithery as I get older as well ☹️

I used to swan into aires without a bye or leave. Now I block people getting in and block people getting out. Also park wrong way round and too close to people (not as close as the French) …age is a terrible nuisance !

You're right, I do have a 300 series Truma, I also think my leisure battery has had it, it won't hold a charge so new one due when I get back to 🇬🇧 😊

As long as you are using that nuisance to your advantage then carry on.

Could 'Carry on Ageing' be a new film?
