Where are the Funsters?

Only seen two British reg vans on site in a week and a half.
One in NL and one in Germany.
Going by other threads I know folk are about.
Not sure it's unusual we have went nearly two weeks some years.
It is odd how some sites are mainly Dutch vans and others þhere are very one or two?

Now on the new aire at Blaye. Free aire at the Chateau opposite full to bursting as you would expect. I would recommend this aire, one third full at the moment 6.60 a night all services included good sized pitch and plenty of room.

We are in Saarburg Germany.
Must have seen at least 20 UK vans since yesterday morning and there are 2 others on this site.

Hi, we stayed at Camping Falkensteiner a short cycle ride to the center .Its a big 5star site but as it’s Sept they were ACSI around €22 per night and not many kids around hogging the pool . It’s normally €100pn in high season.
Really is a very nice site at this price 👍

Just adding to my response about Zadar site. Croatia is mad busy even now so getting onto popular sites without a booking can be difficult, all the sites on Krk were full yesterday with waiting lists.
The Germans are here in massive force , I’m guessing it’s the post COVID rush that’s driving it .

So if one has not booked and one is forced to wildcamp is the 'Sites are full' excuse accepted by the police to avoid a fine?

I suspect they will just tell you to go inland where there probably is room.
Talking to a fellow Swiss camper an extra 6000 motorhomes were registered in Switzerland last year ( mostly due COVID effect ) so if you use that as a model then over 60,000 new German vans may have been registered in Germany then add the Dutch etc etc .It’s easy so see why Croatia Italy etc are so busy this year.

In the aire at hardelot plage 1 other English van only 5 vans total
