When only gaffer tape will do 😜

Amazing on what appears to be a reasonably new van?

A range of companies still make them Bill. Autodoc have most parts.

Standing about, damp/water gets in /on them ,freezes &/or they just start to come apart.

Keep an eye on how the reservoir pushes in to the master cylinder with the new rubber grommets. Some of them are looser leading to vibration when travelling & then they leak .I had to put a cable tie around mine to stop the problem whilst away & until I could change them.
Thanks bud I replaced the grommets it's a good tight fit had similar problem a long time ago
Cheers bill

In Italy just temporarily fix the fresh water drain pipe that I ripped off going over an ant’s grave. What a dreadful motorhome the Swift Kontiki 599 Sport is,time for a proper MH home me thinks.Suggestions on a postcard please………

I have been repairing peeling wallpaper here and there over the years and have just done a couple more bits. Some of it was overhead and causing a puzzle over how to do it. Usual way is to use some wallpaper repair paste on the peeling area and clamp a piece of wood over it while the paste goes off, on the overhead parts it's not possible. However, I realised the awning rafter is an extendable pole so using that as a prop I have managed to stick back the offending peeling areas.

2x new leisure batteries .
1x new solar controller.
Fixed wardrobe door
Put new vinyl Bathroom floor
Replaced part on leaking tap kitchen sink
Replaced batteries in bits and bobs
Put another handrail by habitation door .

Added an Amazon fire TV stick to my LG TV and downloaded a VPN to it so can watch iPlayer and ITV using my Tiekom Spanish SIM card. Was pretty straightforward and worked first time including with the Avtex sound bar

Not fixed, but in progress. Techno step finally jammed open and didn't respond to the usual upwards kick to release it.

Removed, dismantled, various pieces glared at, cleaned, lubricated and put back together, three new micro switches on order.

Through the MOT today no problems - had it done in Beverley at the East Riding County Council depot - £45 and a very nice and helpful chap - recommended

Noticed near-side mirror was lower than off-side and wires were showing...so managed to get the plastic cover off without cracking it, undid the hex nuts and raised it so the wires were covered. Yay.

Replaced the gas locker door retaining clip after the door fell down on my head weekend before last.
Yesterday replaced a cassette vent valve after it leaked on the Mrs 😂

Pulled out the naff shower mixer and fitted a proper thermostatic valve which means when the temperature is set it gives a stable flow of warm water.
I still need to source a blanking plate for the existing hole.

Blimey buddy, that’s a tough one. Think I’d change them while I can, or you’ll be worrying about them as you tick along on your journeys and sod’s law says you’ll have to change them when it’s winter, freezing cold and pouring down with rain 🌧 🥶

Hubby fixed wardrobe door catch. It was rattling and we discovered the angled retainer clip was missing. Got a whole new catch from Amazon but only needed the wee angled bit. I cleared a slow kitchen sink again!

Found water was coming in on rear garage door lock, as the gasket between the door and lock had twisted on itself.

Got some 3mm closed cell foam, hollow punch set and made up new gasket. No water leaks since and can now address if happens on other locks.

Not a body shop job but good enough for me
It's all stuff I could have done during lock down but had another project.

To just tidy it up as most of the michanical bits are done now

Befor the lock down I had a bit of a mishap with the van braking the rear right corner when I reversed in to a low post
It looks better than a gaping hole with bits missing
Not perfect but will do
