What have you fixed on your motorhome this week?

Not on the motorhome, but removed old slippery decking from outside the back conservatory and started to replace with paving slabs on pedestals. Had to be on pedestals so we still have access to the manhole cover. The slabs were slightly different thicknesses which made it a bit more difficult. It would have been a lot easier if I had used exterior tiles as they would be all the same thickness.

One day I might relay them in cement and incorporate the manhole cover but it's another job ticked off the list (or will be when it's finished) for now.

And yes I realise it's a perfect place for rats, but they also had access under the old decking so it's no worse than it was.

One benefit of the raised slabs on pedestals is that it will allow the water to run off between them and not form puddles as well as let it drain away into the ground underneath, much better for the environment.

Spawn_e_git that is some real nice work on the carpet tiles 👍👍
Did you solve what had caused the delamination though??

As far as I know its just the crap way they make the floor. Over time the polystyrene gets compressed with walking on it and the glue separates. I know Burstner had issues with the glue but mine is earlier than this.
Also had some in a 2000 plate Elddiss in high traffic areas, same here middle of lounge and kitchen area.

The resin has shored it up.

Picked up some self adhesive felt Praguet floor pads from Lidl. Cupboard doors have always had a bit of movement in them that I thought was the cause of some rattles. Doors had the self adhesive bump stops on back but did not seem effective. Put these on and have stopped the free play. Yet to get out to try but looks hopeful. Had them in two different colours, we had light ones and not intrusive. For less than £2 a pack worth a try image.jpg

Hi.
Replaced the free fitting draining board into the m/ho yesterday................. It was in the Pizza hut, left there when i did a deep clean.........not in it last week at Praia........... OOOoopppps

I replaced the standard single USB chargers with two doubles , so with the single one the sink , plus the two from the stereo we now have 7 in total.

I am however a little miffed that the CBE “black” double usb sockets are not the same colour as the frames … I may have been sent grey ones.

But the colour difference is less noticeable to the naked eye

Removed and refitted bedroom window as it has had a very slight drip when rain hitting that side of the moho. This is the second window I have had out after resealing 3 rooflights thinking they were at fault.
Moho is now 12 years old and when removed I could clearly see where the ingress was from.
On the bright side,, we only have 4 more windows and 2 skylights left.

Replaced the front exhaust section, after an advisory that it had a small hole in it on the MOT. Easy to remove and refit and £22 from Eurocar Parts 👍🏻

Also fitted a small shelf at the end of the sink, so that SWMBO has more room to spread herself out with, when preparing dinner and doing the dishes.

What a very kind Bear I am 🐻 (you can tell that she has no access to Fun 🙄😇)

First turn of the key surprised the battery was good after a charge.
Still had 70% in it after sitting for over two years disconnected.
Fully charged it up and first touch of the key off she went.

Need photos or we won't believe what a good teddy you are! 😄

Wired in a new USB charger in the overcab bed, so anyone stopping over the night can plug in my charge their devices.

List of things yet to do:

Remove from ramps.
Fix USB mounting.
Sort out untidy wiring in cupboards.
Look at extra 240v socket.
Make up rear bed.
Look at fixing rivets to rear locker.
Lube all skylights.
Look at Oyster satellite details and update as required.
Remove and wash all curtains.
Remove surround and clean gas fire.
Lube door step mechanism.
Look at rear bed spot light switch.
Wash and wax.
Wash and wax roof.
Fill hole in roof.

A little more than a days work then 😇
