What have you fixed on your motorhome this week?

Just returned from three months in Morocco.
Apart from spending two days freezing my nuts off and dodging the rain and snow while cleaning the inside and outsdie (still got the garage and two outside lockers to finish) I have managed to:
Replace two cupboard catches
Replace one cupboard handle
Replace a wing mirror removed by a myopic, specsaver dodging, cheese eating French camping cariste who found it too much trouble to stay the right side of the white line down the middle of the road.
Free up a jammed tambour cupboard door
Repair an electric hob we use on the rare occasions we have EHU
Adjust the passenger door so it shuts properly once more
Adjusted the electric drop down bed so it returns to the correct "up" position
Still a few minor jobs to do tomorrow.
Weve driven 8000 miles this trip and it has been tough on the van

Mr Sprout and half the neighbourhood and me spent 5 hours yesterday fitting gas struts to the bed. Got one on but struggled for ages with the other before we realised it's 2mm too long. (n):(

Courtesy of those very nice german supermarket Johnnies, (or should it be Helmuts???) I bought one of their electrical car polishers to rid our 'van of all those nasty scratches on the windows, put their by driving down the narrow Cornish hedgerowed lanes.
Down here, the lanes are that narrow, the offside windows had as many horizonal lines as our old telly.
The windows now gleam.

Just remember that you can only do this a few times as the windows are coated, which means that polished too much you will break through the coating and end up with very grotty looking windows

Made & fitted a second grey water tank (Mohican tank a rubbish 46lt) so now I can dribble for several more miles

that's a new excuse.

while away on our winter trip I found a small leak in the sealant between the habitation plastic and the cab plastic so made a quick repair and thought that it was all sorted, now having got home I found another leak either coming from the unit where the cables from the sat dish go through the roof or it's coming from the brackets that support the handrail on the roof.
So, I'm now in the process of cleaning up and checking all the other roof fittings.

Fitted a new rooflight in bathroom. Previous opened itself then disappeared on the high bit of the M62.

One of the things I hated was not enough area prep food in the kitchen area, so went to Ikea and bought a 8 quid chopping board:

An hour later with a jigsaw and sandpaper we now have a little larger area to work on, which can store away when not in use.

Before area above

None slip mat to hold in place

Now using an extra 2/3 inches (old money) and now marking the top.

Rounded corner so does not get in the way.

Just freed and lubed up my sticky turbo boost actuator on the variable vane turbo, so hopefully now I won't get the red management light come on while pulling uphill :)

They do stick after a period of storage or no use, so was due some TLC :)

Added a door opening so the entry to the garage can be gained from the inside as well now(y)
