l as & when without usually allowing it to go below halfway, although I did run the 800kms back from the French border as the diesel is cheaper at my local.
What motorway are you on that you use 200 quid of diesel in a fiat pvc?

Even this big slug gets 310 mile to a tank
The bigger the better for me as it allows you to fill at the cheapest places. Some 9 years ago there was an 814 MH on ebay at a reasonable price & fully fitted out with a 1000litre tank seller stated, along with avearaging 25mpg. At lockdown prices that would have only been 890€ to fill. Even now would be 1490€ but allow 2 return trips to Devon without filling.Ideal.

Only he lied about the 25mpg

20mpg is probably the max achievable but 17mpg is more likely . And with a tonne of fluid on board probably less than that lol .

My Vespa 90 cost 40p a gallon including the 2 stroke additive. Wages Asan apprentice electrician 4 quid a week. Whilst touring France this week had to fill up the MH twice in one day goodbye 260 euro. Pension 180 quid a week.

mmm that Vespa was a crab nights sleep, so life is what you make it guess.

Filled up at local Asda from indicated half a tank before trip to Pembrokeshire last month, (16th August) - £184, (plus £103 to fill the car). Top-up on the return leg roughly 300 miles later £126.

Guess I managed to synchronise my trip perfectly with peak fuel prices and lousy weather.

Recently it cost about £125 to brim the tank on our Mk 6 Transit based motorhome in the UK mostly at Sainsburys giving us the nectar points.
Last week during our trip to Germany and Holland filling up on both the autobahn and small filling stations it seemed a bit cheaper. Now we are back in the UK I have checked our bank app and it appears there isn’t much difference in price.
We normally manage 400 miles to a tank keeping the speed at about 60/65 mph most of the time.

A week ago I topped up in Kyle of Lochalsh £199.9 a litre, that's why it was just 20 litres.

We recently made our annual trip to the South of France but for the first time we were in our 2000 Hymer B534. Acquired just before Lockdown it had sat for 3 years without moving so needed £4,000 spent to get it through the MOT. It showed a nearly full tank of fuel as we left but within about 50 miles it had dropped to a quarter. Stopped as soon as we could to fill up - it took €20 worth before the pump shut off. It soon became obvious that the fuel indicator wasn't working properly so we stopped at nearly every services for 800 miles on the way down and the same on the return journey. The most it took on filling was €27 once. Consequently I haven't the least idea how much I spent on fuel in total - it was never very much each time so it seemed like small change. It certainly didn't spoil the holiday !

In the news today it now cost £100+ to fill a family car. What does it now cost to fill your motorhome with diesel. I still get a good deal filling up at Costco but some areas must be costing you a fortune.

Filled up last Tuesday in Caen before ferry equal to £1.32 a litre
Enough to get us home. Half full now so enough to get back to the tunnel in April for the next 90 days.
Hopefully it will drop some more by then.

Hi.
Fiat Ducato PVC. Just under quarter full to full £121.41p. Garage coming out of Leyburn towards Bedale today.
Tea Bag

I dread filling up locally here in Hythe Kent. Diesel still not got below £1.819 a litre. Just back from a bike trip to Aragon for the MotoGP and it seemed the French and Spanish were pretty much the same but in Euros.

BUT - Unleaded E10 was as low as €1.409 at Total Energies garages. With E5 around €1.459. Oddly I had expected Auchan and Carrefour to match but often didn't come near to that price! Even the station a few miles from Eurotunnel on the A16 was €1.409 for E10. That was also Total. Sadly we passed it before we saw and ended up getting "done" at Auchan. Still at €1.519 it was cheaper than here!

In July I twice hit the (then) €110 limit on my Clarity card filling the Moho.
