We are in lovely Llangollen on " Lily" a narrow boat , our home for the week.
 
gonna drive to the new forest to have a look at their motorhome and caravan show
 
This weekend I am watching the shows of the Encontros Magicos Magic Festival in Coimbra...

This weekend the MH is staying at home :( while we go to Liverpool to visit our son & daughter in law and Alan's Mum & Dad :)

This weekend sees the start of Bonkers October....

Sunday I run the Chester Marathon followed by the following weekend of joyfully entertaining 60 funsters at the cooking meet.
Follow that with running the Round Rotherham 50 mile foot race and then the following week it's the Snowdon marathon before jumping in the van and heading to Amsterdam and Belgium for some much needed R&R
 
Ayrshire Real Ale Festival at the Concert Hall in Troon, shall be there p.m. Saturday.

Getting ready for 10 days in Scotland, we had to postpone our original trip about 6 weeks ago due to our lad being rushed into hospital, to be honest i am finding it hard to motivate myself for this holiday - dont know why as i was really looking fwd to it last time around :(

Packing the house up to move further away from londin hooray

It's been a long while coming

When I retried we were gonna move
Son got married no 1 grand daughter arrived
Mrs t was stuck with artheritis now in remission
Then no 2 granddaughter arrived

They are soon to move
But we beat em to it
28 years ago we moved here temporarily
Good grief it's hard pulling up such deep rootes
To move to the unknown
 
Off to York for the weekend to see my daughter who has just started Uni last weekend there. We had last weekend up there also, it's not to far away from us

Well I'm very pleased to say that, this weekend, we're off to Blackpool to visit a lovely couple we met at Malvern - Peggy & Ollie.

Peggy and Jim struck up a bargain at Malvern. Peggy's got some western gear she thinks will fit Jim, and he's going to fit new LED lights in their motorhome in exchange :clap:

In our experience so far, this is one of the nicest things about being members of RVOC & MHFun :h:
 
We're off to the Notts DA 50th Anniversary Goose Fair Meet tomorrow which is held at Walesby.(y)
 
Still wandering our way back from Lincoln and will be stopping of at Whitby for the weekend. Currently in York on the same site as "Sheila's wheels"

Turn right, go to Honfleur, lovely little place for a couple of nights

1200 ferry to Calais on Saturday, turn left, Bavay Sat night, Luxembourg on Sunday then maybe wander into Germany for a few days before heading back to Calais for the following Saturday.
