What are you up to this weekend?

I am glad I am not the only one that gets weekends mixed up.

Taking our baby to Reading Uni , tissues will be at the ready for me but not until we have left the campus and are out off site. I have been very brave with the other two but not so sure this time!

Drive to Ashton on Saturday for early shuttle on Sunday. Spending the last 5 days of my holidays in France before returning to work and forcing a smile at all the lecturers & students when they say 'did you have a nice summer?'

Massive party Sat night. The band were booked by my erstwhile next door neighbour for her 60th & her partner of 10 years standing's 70th joint birthday ceilidh. We did their 50th & 60th too in the year they met - at an earlier ceilidh of ours.

Now they have decided that they are getting married on Sat as well, so it's turned into a quadruple celebration - two birthdays, a 10 year anniversary (of sorts) & a wedding, all rolled into one. It's going to be quite a party!

Sunday afternoon, if any strength left, it'll be off to the monthly Irish music session in Lincoln.

Oh yes - and keep quiet about the result of the Singapore GP until I get a chance to watch it.

Off to judge at a pony show near Kilmarnock on Saturday then spending a few days in Dumfries and Galloway stopping off to see my stepmum in Newton Stewart . Hope the weather holds out.:)

We're doing the absolute opposite of 'Wild camping'. We're going to an All singing, All dancing massive site on the coast at Perranporth who are going to extract £25 out of me for five nights, including EHU.
Hopefully the little darlings will not be in attendance and it will be oh so quiet.

that sounds fab! where is this site?Emmitdb ? :Dx

Going to Sumners Wood in Meridan with two other MHs to discuss our Autumn Break in France, currently undecided on Bruges, Ypres and the Somme area or Normandy. Have done Ypres quite a few times but have also done Normandy extensively. Bit of a conflict of opinions which may mean we do our own thing!!

My preference is the Northern France area, with a start point of Bruges but then moving to the Somme area anybody got a good itinery for about 5 or 6 days which encapsulate the area I would be very interested to here your ideas.

Having a few beers tonight at the local- then all going well tomorrow with fingers crossed picking up my mh with a working heater only taken 3 weeks to fix???

Hi

We will be spending a few hours parked up on the aire at Canterbury tomorrow (Sat) before heading to Folkestone to take the Tunnel to France (at a stupid time). Once we have had a snooze and some breakfast at Cite Europe we will be off for 2 weeks of relaxing, eating and drinking.

We are parked up at my sisters just below Bergerac and I should be fitting a new shower for her but this is France and when they say delivery in one week they are fibbing. At the speed of the French we may still be here at bloody Christmas, thankfully we have free parking with leccy and wifi and in a delightful area so we are coping

Sitting in a bar in very sunny and hot Pefkos in Rhodes, have not seen a single M/H since we arrived, we are not missing ours just yet,,Hic.!

Was going West this weekend but after having a very late night( we won't mention why) to knackered and now been asked to look after friend's dog tomorrow while she climbs a Ben. I'll find some jobs for hubby to do instead.

We weregoing to Braintree today to give Harriet some TLC on her nether regions, (Waxoyl, that's all, put the grubby thoughts back in the box people.,) but my daughter lives just up the road and says she has a lake outside her house, formerly known as the road.

Looks like Harriet is going to be lonely today as the forecast is rain for most of the day and the site is very slow draining.

Hymie.
