We are at Hawes. We came over this afternoon. Lots of snow on the hills. Ice on the sides of the roads and where the fields were flooded, pools of ice. There were even remnants of mushy snow.
But bright sun and clear sky.
I've just made tea. Surf and turf. A nice 24 day natured Aberdeen Angus rib eye. With new potatoes ( pre boiled ) fried in garlic butter, with red onions and garden peas. Mine had more king prawns on as Ralphs not fussed about them.

Hopefully the weather stays the same. Cold crisp and bright for our walk up to the waterfall.

All he knows at the moment is his mum is not well some of her lifestyle choses haven't ben good I wont elaborate more.

I'm waiting for Ralph to finish up about lunch time , then we're heading Misterton way. Well, the next village, West Stockwith.
I've got a stew cooking in the slow cooker for tea tonight. We shall be going to the pub though, later !
Then tomorrow a walk with Buster , probably down the canal to Misterton , call in at the pub and butchers then back to Pug .
Get ready, meal booked at the White Heart pub in the evening. Nice relaxing weekend. Pub, food,walks, each other and the dog. Just how we like it.

at a pretty dire cc rally everyone friendly enough and hall is warm didn't mind the quiz despite 4 of John's right answers being outvoted. he is very competitive and we lost instead of winning grr,then it was his pet hate bingo. we are here with good friends though so that is a bonus, not really our cup of tea but you have to try these things.

Went yesterday and had a fab time ( apart from the dealer who told me a particular model would be there and wasn't . They left it back at the dealership , useless twunts )
Truly didn't see anything to rival all our vans layout .
Bought a fire extinguisher, last of the big spenders !
