We spend most of the summer months going to steam fairs around the U.K. Sadly, this weekend is our last major rally, but we have left the best 'til last. The Bedford Steam Engine Preservation Society rally set in the wonderful grounds of Old Warden Park near Biggleswade is our favourite event of the year.
Unfortunately I shall be there by myself this weekend. Di is staying at home to look after Bobby, one of our Collies, who is slightly poorly.

Its my daughters birthday on the 27th and she wanted a party on the 26th.

I had to veto that because of the Wales v England game.

Not going away this weekend because no. 1 son is coming up from Glasgow. It's his 24th Birthday on Saturday so we will be having a party in the summer house. Weather forecast is fair but may need the heating on later. Roll on, it will be good fun

Heading off to South Wales on Saturday afternoon, staying at a Britstops or C&CC DA meet near Abergavenny for the night and then move on to Tenby on Sunday to meet up with a few more Funsters prior to the Pembrey meet.
