What are you up to this weekend?

Rugby season starts this weekend. :D That's more or less every weekend written off until April.

Trip down to Devon with stops in Yorkshire, Shropshire Devon, Somerset, Oxfordshire then Cheshire and home. Our wee cat got put go sleep today so we might stay away longer as we don't have to depend on a sitter.:(
Sorry to hear about your cat. :-(

Bless her xx

Ours was a shock, she was a old girl(16) but never expected it as she was never I'll.
Came home after getting daughter gcse results to find her on the kitchen floor. Dogs lying with her, one of our dogs is still so sad. He doesn't understand.
She held on until we got home bless her she lived a full and happy life and wasn't alone.

It hurts when loosing a pet, but it does get easier with time xxx xxx

What a shock don't know if it's easier when decision made for you, our cat was 16 too but kept putting off decision even although our upstairs rooms were ruined by cat wee. We have 2 dogs left one is on her last legs literally and we lost a little terrier to a brain tumour last month. Xx

Scottish airshow is on over two days this weekend. First day its being held over Ayr beach with ample viewing spots. The next day it'll be at Prestwick airport.

Bring it on.....Robert.

I'm trying to psych myself up for a stay in hospital starting next Monday - hope they have a good plumber. Then after about a month when I can drive again we will be off to (maybe) Yorkshire in the van. At least the van passed its MOT yesterday.

Supposed to be setting off this morning but picked up a last min medic job on film set so postponing trip till tomorrow. Then heading from Yorkshire towards Shepton Mallet for the show. Prob call at Hereford and Wye Valley on the way down and anywhere else that takes our fancy. 24 hours to go - yay!!!!!

Heading up past le mans towards Beaumont sur sarthe for a day or two then possiblely neufchatel en bray for a night to catch Monday chunnel hone

A few last minute jobs before a 4 night trip to Flanders and the Somme.
This has become almost an annual pilgrimage and although we've been to most of the usual places in both areas, there's always somewhere interesting to visit or re-visit. Last year I went and had a chat with my Grandfather who has been resident in Bethleem Cemetery since 1917 and this year we'll revisit the eerie Railway Hollow Cemetery at Serre.
And then of course, stock up at Auchan with wine, coffee and the obligatory box of pain aux raisin (which never quite taste the same when you get them home).
