It looks like domestic warfare starts tomorrow after a trip to B&Q today. Just a quick slop round with some emulsion to freshen it up and hide were the old cooker hood was.
I was surprised how busy B&Q was today. No waiting to get in and the check outs were well organised with a nice lady telling you which checkout to go to.
Even though we though we knew what colour we wanted for one of the walls we got a test pot to make sure. It was way off. Beige sort of colour to nearly match the tiles was more like purple.
No matter we agreed to use up some left over emulsion from the last job for that wall.

Today we will have a drive up to and around the Solar Park, it's as big as some country's and a site to behold.
Then a few miles South to Al-Qudra Lakes, bird and wildlife abound, with observation posts scattered about.
Then On to Bab-Al-Shams Desert Hotel (Gateway To The Sun) for lunch before heading back for sun downers on the terrace at Lu Lu's.
Below is the visitors center at the Solar Park. We wont go in this time. (pic taken about 18 mths ago just before opening)

same as mine, gave it a cut the last sunny day we had, 50% moss so rake's coming out as this amount would kill a scarifier very quickly

It's a lovely day here so I have just trimmed the moss / grass on three of our tiny lawns. Now I'm waiting for Dorset Lady to remove the washing from the lines so I can do the fourth. Might be a long wait.

We have just tried to take the MH out of the garage to clean it. A couple of weeks ago we had trouble with the front doors. ( new garage, new doors) the door man came and put extra springs on. Today we found out that it has lowered the opening space by 6 inch, so we have had to get onto the roof to take the aerial off. We only had a couple of inch clearance in the first place.

Today we found out that it has lowered the opening space by 6 inch, so we have had to get onto the roof to take the aerial off. We only had a couple of inch clearance in the first place.

Got a 130w solar panel fitted at Vanbitz Taunton last year, so regularly go down to the van in storage to check if batteries are charged. Going today! Probably unnecessary as they have always been fully charged, but as first time using it over winter ( which is what I got it for) so not sure what to expect and it’s a local trip out so a win win!
