Blakemere touring park
Northwich this weekend popping over to A&E leisure to get the rear lights replaced.
Then back on site a bit of shopping and an hour in the onsite brewery mmmmmm

On the spur of the moment, and after consulting the weather forecast, we have decided to go to Golden Bay and possibly into the Abel Tasman National Park. It's Labour Weekend - a public holiday - and spring is warming up. The only potential problem is whether we will get a strong enough signal to be able to watch the All Blacks thrash England in the Rugby World Cup tomorrow night.

Suit fittings in Birmingham for our eldest son’s December wedding... organised when MCFC have a home game... how very dare they...

the second wedding this year we have funded plus the purchase of our MH has dented the bank balance severely ?

Well done England. An excellent game and a deserved win. Unlike the cricket World Cup.
There are no happy campers here this morning, but at least the sun is shining.

On our way to Golden Bay we stopped for lunch at Motueka.
Photo #1 ship wreck in Tasman Bay as viewed from the van.
Photo #2 We took a gravel road to Canaan Downs looking for somewhere to freedom camp (wild camp) but it was very windy so we turned back and headed for Takaka where there is an NZ Motorhome Association site beside Port Tarakohe. Not quite so windy but raining.

Dazz, what a great start to your motorhoming “career”. I just know that you are going to get the most from that lovely van of yours. You have started off well by going away out of season and wild camping. A brilliant start. You must try not to look down your nose when your friends pitch their tents in the rain next week.

Sorry, my last line refers to comments by Aerialmark.

We are down at the Camper uk fire works open weekend ,at least a hundred vans on site and about half a dozen funsters. It’s all a bit damp lol

At home this weekend but out for dinner tomorrow night for our Grandaughter's 21st, and it's also her mum's birthday (but she wouldn't thank me for saying how old she is, LOL!).

Currently on Cheshire Fairoaks Club site
Just “survived” a deluge of rain

Heading to Seahouses in Northumberland tomorrow for a weekend of R&R. We were supposed to be paddling out to the Farne Islands, but the weather and tides have conspired against us, so the kayaks are not coming along.

That leaves pubs, long beach walks, more pubs and relaxing in the site’s pool, jacuzzi, steam room and sauna, before even more pubs.

It’s a hard life :drinks:

Gonna winterise the van if it doesn’t rain. Love the snow but hate rain and wind

Weather not looking usable Saturday but better on Sunday.
So Sunday 'might just use the MH as a mobile cafe / warm room base for walks in Snelsmore Common, Berks

Saltire Classic Regularity Rally starting from Blair Atholl on Sunday ☺️ In the hot seat on the maps ? in a moggy minor. Should be a giggle as long as the snow stays away!
