continuing my replacement of the soft furnishings in my van, i think i have pulled out about 10,000 staples so far  and not one was stainless

Monty the motorhome is looking forward to his pre Easter bath!! He's been out quite a lot over the winter so he's really dirty :(

"Planning". We never go out over a Bank holiday,(n) So the planning is on for the Attack on the Garden over the Easter Weekend.:( Then we go away when all the "grockels" are back in their working environment(s) and their noisy kids are back in their playpens (sorry schools);)

We piloted the motorbaguette from home in north Wales to South Wales for the weekend. Instead of going round like sane people, we went through (over) mid Wales via Llan’dod and Builth. It’s a nice drive in the daytime, but a pain in the dark after a hard week’s work.

Arrived Grawen site at just before 11pm Friday night... I hate people who do that. Reversed round corner and up hill to pitch with no lights on. Discovered that the Memsahib’s random hand signals are even less use on the infra red reversing camera than during the day. Site is doing well for 30 quid a night - road noise 24/7, small pitches, and basic farmhouse outbuilding facilities. Nevertheless, it is convenient for the thriving metropolis of Merthyr Tudful.

Spending the 4 days mountain biking at Afan and Bike Park Wales with the younger gene puddle.

Nice to have the motorbaguette out again. Haven’t used it enough over the winter. Just one weekend in York.

Oh... and we are NOT allowed to mention that the Memsahib discovered the swing out on the van the hard way when manoeuvring unauthorised at home on Friday night. And I’m NOT allowed to mention that I’m in the market for 3 new plastic panels for the rear nearside corner...

Looking at micro campers on line as John has MotoGP and Golf to watch. sometimes fancy bobbing off for a coupe of days and not taking the big moho.

Not been a particularly good day, we decided to take the van out today just for a drive (1st opportunity this year). We are meant to be away next weekend in it. Ended up at Boundary Mill, parked up go in for a coffee came out of the cafe to hear our reg on the tannoy ........

Basically it's a 2 week old 320i BMW that has only done 200 miles and she pressed the accelerator by mistake instead of the brake

Cant see clearly but it looks as if the BM came of the worse, wont look pretty but a bit of duct tape on yours and your good to go I hope this is the case and your plans for next weekend have not been ruined.

Fortunately our weekend was booked with C&MC so we have cancelled & booked a holiday inn as, although the damage to us looks superficial it has messed with the wiring to the rear lights, which aren't now working and we won't have chance to look at it before the weekend. The couple exchanged details so we will just leave it up to the insurance co to sort it out. We will find out how good caravan guard is now (after recommending them for price on here not that long ago). Like Dan said at least no-one was hurt.

It is going to be 20C in my garden in the south east this weekend why would anyone want to join the flocks of emmets and grockle's swarming across our roads and countryside just to find a different patch of grass. Freezer is full barbi is poised and invites are out....(y)

Easter weekend in York for us, hope the traffic isn’t too bad Friday mid morning.

Having spent a great few days at Jasmin Camping, we are homeward :(, but not before we have the honour of meeting up with @old-mo again at his pad. Then unfortunately our two weeks Easter leave will be nearly over and the south coast beckons us again.

We are there at the moment. Arrived yesterday and was aiming to drive straight through to Spain and Portugal for some warmth. But looking at the weather France is going to be warmer than either of those, so we are going to be here until after Easter.

Where are you heading for, in case you want o meet up

Off to Seaton for one night. Running 5k on the seafront on Saturday morning then off again to Little Silver for a bit of motocross :D2 Well I am running , hubby is racing (y)

We're thinking of trying a couple of aires just north of Rouen but on the train route into Rouen, as we've never visited before.
