What are you up to this weekend?

Around three years ago we attempted to get around the M25 in the snow, lucky enough I had two strong female passenger's who manage to push me for the ten mile trip. We were the only ones moving in a straight line..:)

This will be the old M25 you refer to before the extra lanes were added. It flows like a river now..(y)
Oh yes!

we went to Hemsby near Great Yarmouth yesterday - found a little café on top of the dunes, next to the beach that had these dog houses ! lovely little café next to a large car park that DIDNT allow motorhomes. such a shame - though for £6 a day for a car it wasn't cheap ! I can understand them not allowing motorhomes in the summer, but the car park only had about ten cars in yesterday and would have taken around 200 hundred easily. we definitely would have gone back and took the motorhome if they allowed them. The car park is staffed and has barriers that stop overnight parking (I assume) so why they can allow motorhome day parking is beyond me.

two hot chocolates and a large cake between us mmmmmmm!! the staff in the café really were very polite and helpful, they have fresh water containers and dog bowls outside so you can just help yourself. no dogs allowed in the café of course but we took advantage of the dog house !!

It's just down the road from Becks Motorhomes where we go for service etc - they do a great breakfast at the cafe!:D2

A lot of the "cliff" was eroded during recent storms leaving the cafe a bit vulnerable so hoping it survives the future storm attacks.(y)

Flew to New York yesterday and it is absolutely freezing, visited the 9/11 memorial and museum last night very emotionally draining over 3000 inocent people lost there lives in this terrible tragic event.
Today we join the ship for 12 days round the carribean and hopefully some much needed sunshine on our backs
Gary and Janet

Not sure what were doing at the weekend yet.

The van is looking a little grubby though so at least Julie will have something to do.

I expect I'll go for a beer so I'm not in her way.

Having a break from the motorhome in a nice hotel near Gloucester, visiting the Docks and Cathedral, followed by a (hopefully) nice meal in the hotel, and a good bottle of wine.
:wine:

All part of our “master plan” for our 50the Wedding Anniversary year.

Another weekend in Teddington, last visit was New Years eve so was told to get our arses back over there for a meal and a couple of drinks. Who am I to argue. (y)

Been down to Carcassonne to help my sister move house, travelling back to Brittany tomorrow with a hire van full of goodies then off to Spain at the weekend.
Somebody has to do it!

At the CC Strathclyde Park site, breezy walk round the water and then watching 2nd half of the Scotland v Ireland game. Parked beside a lovely Morelo Palace!
