What are you up to this weekend?

Back from our place in Cumbria yesterday.
A week holiday after dropping youngest daughter off at first year in Uni.
Went and visited her on the way back down south.
Tomorrow off to a 3 night trip to Norwich, 3rd trip away in the new MH.
Slowly getting used to it ready for the first trip into Europe.

Benidorm is not for everyone I know in fact I feel a bit guilty for even suggesting that we are having a.good time. It is difficult to explain its attraction but I'm sure alcohols plays its part. Where else can you be next to a pub that blasts loud music from dawn to dusk, where else can you be seated for dinner in a nice hotel environment sipping wine with your fish dish when half a dozen tipsey reverlers walk by below you in pink thong's and tee shirts displaying "love me love my cock" absolutely love the place...(y);)

Off to Rye this weekend- no real reason, just a spare weekend and like the idea of just getting up and going. :)

Well, managed a Saturday walk through the fields and farms (Peasmarsh-Rye) was a good walk and had a dander about the town of Rye, then the dog got thirsty and dragged me into a micro-pub. *shame.
The site was called 'The Hare and Hounds'. Clean facilities, good pitches and not too busy (grass pitch) The weather, however, was pretty grim so up and away on the Sunday morning.

Clean, fresh almost new toilet block, and shower facilities. Microwave and freezer there to use and electric for phone charging if needed.

All in all pretty pleased. Just to re-attach the exhaust pipe extension.
Happy Monday, all. :)

There's a nice aire at the fishing club at Peso da Regua - it's a bit west of you, all separate serviced pitches with water, waste and electric for 3euros a night (not as cheap as where you are now!) It's a very nice town with a good train service

Trying to nail the builder to the wall who didn’t turn up last Monday to work on our house roof.

We booked the date back in May, returned early from France so that he could take advantage of the better weather, then he tells me he thought it was next week.

We have his e-mail and his estimate both showing 24th September.

The most annoying thing is that we have used the same guy for 15 years because he is “dependable “.

Going to Hardwick Park near Witney for the weekend to meet up with old friends once I finish work, will have to look at the route as the M40 is closed so will need to avoid the motorways. Might end up being a mare of a journey!

Off to Lake Vyrnwy to meet the in-laws.

Van still has a broken turbo, so taking a car. Claira will stay in her parents van, me and the dog in the car (they have dogs as well - mine doesn't mix well).

A weekend of getting out with the camera and no mobile phone signal. Can't wait :)

Now in Balma with the lovely Frankie. Great to see her!
