working again, but luckly its my last night tonight, then 4 days off.
time to go wash and check the bus

Nothing, it's freezing cold in the north cotswolds, the snow can't make up its mind if its dropping in or not, where did my youth go to when I went out and had fun on a Saturday night, dancing or other stuff.
Actually snug on the sofa with my two dogs and a choice of gin, wine or rum, no complaints.

We were coming home from a day up north. But broke down 55 miles from home and had to be rescued by AA, never got home till after 7pm, big car bill expected Monday

Between 3 to 500 I expect,, think it was when went over one of those stupid square things in the road, was supposed to be a short cut road cutting out th3 motorway, but it went when on the motorway, could have been worse, no accident.

We are on the 19:50 train tomorrow to Calais, then heading down France for a couple of weeks hoping to fin the sun !!!

Brought van out from storage to get it ready for Spain in about 2 weeks time ,gave it a good scrub and managed to polish one side then run out of polish ,I used Mer which I had in the garage for ages now it seems it is no longer available ? went to Halfords and had aircon regassed it was a pleasant surprise as it was on offer so it only cost 30 pounds.Went to Morrisons for some LPG, first time I had filled the Gaslow system another pleasant surprise it cost £10.27p for a fill.Now to start packing and sorting out the garage for our trip then to sterilise the water system and various other checks ,starting to get excited need to get some sun .

I have just burnt a zillion calories putting all,the bedding back in the van. Super king size overcab and bunk beds......like a blooming contortionist. Looks lovely and nearly all ready for skiing next week.

Trip to the dechetterie (dumpit site) with a friend who cannot work out for himself that you put cardboard in the cardboard skip, plastic in the plastics skip and so on.................

Then helping Little Wife prepare the veg' plot ready for planting, an unsuccessful trip to try and get the puncture in the wheelbarrow wheel repaired and finally making curry for dinner. Its fun, fun, fun all the way when you are retired.

Dropped our autotrail off at there place in Grimsby for a warranty repair even though it's ten years old. Cant complain with that service, brilliant, they even paid for the taxi back to the train station. Only downside was trying to find parking in cleethorpes. The council there do not like motorhomes at all. Eventually parked behind the pictures. Some councils really do miss a trick, maybe car parks have been abused in the past

We will be celebrating our 50th wedding anniversary on a cruise to the Canaries. (3 April). We leave Wednesday of this week and return 9 April.
I’ll miss logging on here for couple of weeks but I won’t miss the weather!!
I’m hoping we are heading for warmer weather.

Mega Easter egg hunt at our place with shared tea afterwards - around 700 smallish eggs to be found! It's always mayhem but the chocolate fuelled children get taken away by their parents at the end
