Punctuated by lunch in Abersoch ! LOTS of hills , tired !

we need to get away this weekend not been away for the last 2 weekends due to sporting events now having motorhome withdrawal symptoms.

I was planning to start my little trip down to the SW and then maybe up into Wales and then maybe up to the peaks, lakes, moors but getting so fed up with grey skies and chilly temperatures and not really looking forward to UK touring with "pay and display", "no overnight parking here", "booking essential" and "how much for a pitch?"......... I've just booked Dover Calais and will nip down to Spain for a few weeks.
My task is to find a suitable coastal town, probably somewhere between Cartagena and Malaga, where we can spend a month or two next winter in a rental "apartment". A place not too big à la Benidorm and not too small à la ghost town in winter.
Not my usual French bimble but I'm sure I can find some time for a few days in the Lot.

We're off to the tudor caravan park Slimbridge for Saturday and Sunday it's nice and local to us and having a wonder around the wildfowl and wetlands trust on Sunday, then a meal and a pint or two at the tudor arms :drink:

Royal Windsor Horse Show - Yay! Been three weeks since the van has been exercised, we are also getting withdrawal symptoms! :D

Off to Holmfirth to see Hayseed Dixie at the Picturedrome!

Spending first weekend at Camping Valencia Park. Arrived Wednesday from Xabia after a few days at Camping Javea. Had a comfortable drift through France and looking forward to time here

Trip to Hawes just dropped MH off at auction marty and sat outside cafe curva having a latte

We are at Nevez in Brittany, been here since Wednesday. Just had a walk along the beach and then along the "cliffs" with the dog.
Lovely T shirt weather, if you don't mind the cold breeze!
Might try further south tomorrow to a nice aire we know on the beach.

Just driven from Cotignac, Provence, to Montbrun-Les-Bains, near Mt Ventoux and no it is not on the agenda this year! I Planning to cycle round Gorge du Ness tomorrow so will hopefully post some photos.

Off tomorrow, heading for Wales and way up to Anglesey by Monday, I hope the weather forecast is wrong and we get glorious sunshine. No rain would do. Not sure exactly where we will end up yet but that's the fun.

Still at Camping Valencia Park having just eaten a delicious seafood paella. Staying for another week and back to Science Park on Monday. Easy access to Valencia by metro and then No. 35 bus to park. Comfortable temperature with a slight warm breeze at 29deg

Well we too are in Hawes.
Though I'm layed up in Hawes, but it's as gooder place as any to be flat out!
I had a lumbar puncture on Thursday afternoon. But after missing our last planned weekend away , at Whitby Goth, I was determined for us to still go away as planned.
What I didn't plan was the 1 in 4 side effect. I've spent all of the weekend on my back, unless I get a really sore head ache.
I Managed to go for a little walk once tonight , then the headache came back with vengeance. So we had to cancel the planned meal out .
I made it as far as the pub ......but had to go back, ouch.
We had to make do with Pug grub.
So Ive been watching tv and nodding off .....all day . I've been able to see the little lambs running about playing in the field right next to us though. So not all bad.
Ralph's been out walking with Buster then coming back n chilling . He's walked to the pub had a pint then come back .
Not a drop of ale has passed my lips though ..... just water.
Thing is I feel fine till I sit up or stand up. Then bang , splitting head ache. Good job @Jagtazman never recognised Pug .
It'd have been look at them over there. What a weird couple. Come to a lovely place like Hawes and she's not been out , all weekend . Just layed flat watching tv all weekend ! Haha.
Hopefully I'll be ok tomorrow. Or I'll be laying down for the journey home too!
