Going to Canterbury P&R tomorrow to go and do some shopping and have a meal and probably a few drinkie poos. Parked there many times but never stayed overnight before.

We often stay down the P&R for a weekend or even a few days during the week (now we're both retired!). Great value for money, especially when you get a bus from Canterbury town centre to most of the coast! We've seen more of Kent since we retired than in all the time we've lived here.

Off to Dublin tomorrow for Paddys Day on Friday and rugby on Saturday. Slainte!
Bit of an Irish music weekend for me too - although staying this side of the water for it.
Lincoln tonight to an Irish music gig by my mates in the Hooleys - those who were at Boston last year will remember a few of them. Then another music session in Lincoln Sat lunchtime (playing this time), a brief call in to the m/h show at Newark to collect something on the way past & on down to Oundle for a concert by Kathryn Tickell & Amy Thatcher. Northumbrian rather than Irish, but plenty of cross-over. Back to Lincoln on Sunday for another Irish music session in the afternoon/evening, when we should be joined by those members of the Hooleys still standing.

Guinness intake will be limited by the need to drive from time to time, but I expect I'll manage one or two tonight & on Sunday. Might have to wait until Monday morning to come home though. One of the many benefits of having a campervan! (y)

What!! It's no good there.

Bet you'll stumble across an Irish music session in a pub in York tonight or tomorrow night - certain you would if you spend 5 mins on google first. Then he'll be really miffed it's at home. :(

Right - better get going, they're on at 9pm & it's an hour away.

Off for the weekend along the canals from Roanne France. Celebrating our 28th wedding anniversary. The Champagne is already on ice.
Happy anniversary from me too. Xx

Was supposed to be going to ex hubby's to clean van for first time in yonks as I have no access to hosepipe and parking speck ... the promised Storm Stella has put paid to that. :(

We've come away to Cornwall for the weekend, Godrevy CC site, we haven't stopped since before Christmas because of moving house so we're just having a very lazy weekend, a mixture of rugby and walking the 2 dogs on the beach (y)

just put some new highlights in my hair, I may be the wrong side of 50 but I am not going down without a fight  Steve is out looking at scooters and motorbikes

We are looking after the two grandsons this weekend, so will be frazzled come Sunday.

Son and DIL over in Dublin for a wedding. What with St Paddy's day and the rugby the flights cost a fortune. The only ones they could get on back was the first one out on Sunday morning before 7am. Not worth going to bed I reckon.

We should hopefully have arrived in Benidorm or ALtea by then. tunnel crossing tomorrow then drive down steadily to arrive by Fri eve. Our neighbours are flying to Benidorm friday for 5 days so we will meet up with them for a few days before we start heading down the coast and on into Portugal.
