We've been there a few times , either before or after going to Hawes. Great walks. Foods ok in pub.
No phone signal , to keep intouch with our kids though . They let you have the phone number if you need contacting in emergency though.

Going out for lunch with a lovely friend who is picking me up to take me to Yorkshire for me to pick up a motorhome for someone else .... Should be a nice day in all. :)

Searching for log/coal fire rack for our new preloved universal jet master open fire very
expensive new so off to the reclaimation yards for us.

,

Well on Saturday I'm handing out Belgian chocolate truffles and Belgian almond Florentines at the Hilsborough arena Sheffield 10 am till 4pm.
I wonder how many I end up eating ? Mmmmmmmmmmm

On Sunday Ralph and I are getting the last 3 Christmas presents for the family and a few more stocking fillers for our boys.
We shall be having a nice lunch out too somewhere.

Boys are always harder to buy Xmas bits and bobs for , I think.
I have to stop myself buying things for our daughter. Or she ends up with tons more to unwrap!

Just had to do a follow up. Stayed at Britstop 118, had the best time, hosts so welcoming. Our fat lab loved running through the vineyard, and the food in the restaurant, well what can I say. Unbelievable!

Having a run up to Inverness then down to Fort William, leave Friday morning for 4 days.
Hope that the wind and rain do not get too bad.
But being Scots we are ready for most things lol !!!

Been to an Irish music session in Lincoln this afternoon, now having a pint on the banks of the Severn, ready for a couple of days work in Gloucestershire.

Going up to Elland to hav a new sink fitted we hope on wed then on to the lakes for the wk end

Going up to Harrogate so Les can go to the woodfair at the showground.....

Looks like it could be wet yet again ;). No dogs with us this time so we can at least take shelter in a pub or tea & cakey shop if forced:clap:::bigsmile:.

We've never been to Harrogate before and my impression is that it's a bit posh so I will have to make a bit of an effort and not just live in dog walking clothes:makeup::emo:::bigsmile:

Used to live just outside Harrogate. Its great, enjoy.

If ( BIG IF ! ) the weather improves I shall be jumping on the traily ( not to ride it but to work on it ! )
Too ruddy cold out there to start messing with 55 year old wheel bearings !

Going to a place just outside Padstow for our 1st over night stay in our MH and hopefully figure out how everything works. Weather not looking great but I'm sure we will have a laugh or two with our 2 dogs. Looks like we might be taking plenty of towels to wipe them off!!!!
