Thankyou - we will. We are at the site having a cuppa and the rain has just started pattering on the roof.....:LOL:

The warden said the pub is a 5 minute walk so I think we'll be heading there in a mo for lunch:)

We've got friends coming over for the weekend, we have been rallying with them for years. I am cooking Christmas lunch for them tomorrow :D and I am sure we will partake of some drinky-poos :wine:

Father in law and his wife are coming up to Scotland on a 4 day bus tour from Devon, they have a free day on Sunday so will pick them up and give them lunch. They are both in their eighties and not in the best of health, hope it's not too much for them especially as itinery on Saturday is Glasgow shopping centres.
 
We're off to a DA meet in Surrey this afternoon and then next Thursday off to the German Christmas markets for a long weekend.

Depends what is meant by 'nice' We are off Surrey to visit BH's Mother:Eeek:. The good thing is we'll be going in the MH cos besides me and missus there will be Our daughter Her bloke, Alfie our 3 year old grandson AND our very very new Granddaughter Elsie:party:. She's the main reason we're going to introduce Her to Her Great Grandmother. Me I'll be in van & on puter:active:

Karen and I are off to the lake district to have a hike around some more 'Wainrights'......Will be walking up from Honister slate mine to start with.....We're hoping that the weather matches the local forecast for the area, complete with promised cloud inversion....But it will still be a great day out regardless!

We are at Bury St Edmunds Christmas market, staying on British Sugar factory car park with nine N+B owners (with their permission).
 
I am off to the Local Garden centre to see the Reindeers arrive, grandaughter wants to go, she is 16 :Eeek:

Got friends visiting from Manchester, youngest daughter has 2 birthday parties and 2 singing performance s and I have to fix the leaking skylight in the camper toilet
 
Just dropped off our Mini Schauzer at the groomers and getting the 'The Ghost' ready for our first rally next weekend near Southport...
Looking forward to getting away again...

I worked there 6 months doing the HSBC facing the worlds smallest pub the nutshell (y)
As long ago as Rumbelows going bust
