Leaving Great Yarmouth today, been on the Vauxhall campsite with the kids. Weather yesterday was like a summers day.

Nice clean site, with new large pitches. (y)

We went there a few years back.

We had a great Sunday lunch in the pub on site.

Going to Ribblehead for the weekend. Trying to get away from too many fireworks. There is a very short (10 minuet) display at 21:00. Other than that none. Also there is a jam session by local musicians. Should be fun.

The van is fully loaded ready for Christmas/New Year in Spain, so we are off to get it weighed this weekend to ensure we are in the limits.

After having to do some jiggling with my ticket dates I'll now be flying down to Cape Town this coming weekend.
Just for 2 quality weeks with sons - much eating, drinking and catch-up nattering will be done.
But oh the joy of 12+ hours in that Airbus seat.

We are heading north east on the Acklam pasty trail for a few days next week , see how the other half live.:)

Spending tonight scrubbing masonry paint off my hands after spending the week painting the outside of the house. I don't know how well it will protect the walls but my hands should be OK for a few years.;)

Then settle in tomorrow to watch the Rugby International, followed by a trip to the Malvern Antiques Fair on Sunday.

Will be taking it easy this weekend as our Christmas festivities will begin the following weekend with a night in the Wembly Hilton and some good front row seats for Simply Red in concert. Really looking forward to it. We then have all weekends booked up until Christmas with Fortnum and Masons champagne afternoon tea then a number of parties and get togethers that take us through to Christmas so will have to get the presi wrapping done this weekend.....(y)
