Well that’s my five month holiday gone for a burton,

Ok for you lot that are curious on my progress, my trailer board hadn’t arrived today so at least one more day here, probably good because I want to try and get my high level lights working together with the board,
So I’m still tidying her up some more so bare that in mind, first pic is the worse side, then rear then near side, I have driven her around the yard and that’s fine, but obviously the true test will be on the road,
And yes I will refit the O/S lights and probably get them working although all the wiring was ripped out of there connectors.
And on a positive note today was a glorious one, wall to wall sunshine and 20C had to shed clothes to keep working,

Excellent work! I'd have no problems driving it home.

We had much more minor repairs carried out last year by DMR , talking to them about costs and write off options , they said he estimated our MH at £40K+ and said that Avjva would probably have spent up to £35K to repair rather than write off which I was surprised at

Excellent job done albeit lengthy due to parts

Very best of luck for your journey home then getting sorted, very impressed at the improved look 👍

I am also impressed. I might need more tools to take than I do though.
To be honest I did buy some tools, normally my missus complains if I buy them at home, always telling me I have too many, this time she brought them for me😁 result because I believe you cannot have enough tools👌

Becareful, they job your doing the insurance company may say
'Jolly good carry on, we'll pay for the bits'::bigsmile:

An excellent job, well done. Seen much worse on the road. It will be ok on the Spanish and French roads. It's uk roads you have to worry about .
But make sure you don't hit the speed bumps too fast.
Your insurance company may say " what damage" (y)

Blimey!
I'm super impressed with your bodgery at fixing that up, very impressive.
It looks at though it gone from 'write off' to 'minor shunt'.
I love the weatherboarding rear end, it's probably better than the original !

Your MoHo now would not be out of place on any travellers site! ;)
Have you thought about upgrading the leather dog leash to a bit of string ?

Bit of a drastic way to get 'em though! 😂

Great job. I can see the insurance man coming out and saying…… nothing wrong with that we will pay for the paintwork to be done. 😂👍
I had every confidence in you from the start, After many years in the motor trade doing car body repairs myself I would have done the same thing, It's amazing what you can do with a good stout hammer, tyre lever, a bottle jack with a selection of blocks of wood and a tool box with sundry items, all of which I strangely carry with me.
What would the insurance company say if you provided a few pics and asked if you could carry on with your holiday.
Second thoughts I think I would tell them you were suffering from shock and need 5 weeks at least to recover before your are up to discussing the subject any more !!!!???? All the best to you both, Bruce
P,S, I forgot the duck tape. Post meant for op.
